The chain is gold-filled, adjustable from 50 to 55cm long 19 12/16" to 21 5/8"), so you can wear it in two different ways.

Gold-filled is a more resistant material than gold-plated, and 5% of the weight of the jewelry must be composed of gold (50 to 100 more important than gold-plated jewelry).
